THE LIVING NOMAD

Terms of membership

A few clear ground rules, so you can settle in.

Updated 27 September 2026

Who we are

The Living Nomad is operated by An Honest Day’s Work Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (15640874). Business address: 30 Newton Drive, Leyland, PR25 5BH, United Kingdom. VAT registration number: GB466108489. Contact hello@thelivingnomad.com. These terms apply to personal, consumer use of our streaming service.

What membership includes

Membership gives you access to the available Living Nomad collection while your subscription or eligible trial is active. Our films are creative digital ambience experiences; they are not a promise of documentary footage of a particular real location. The Journey combines numbered experiences with reflective storytelling; Between the Days offers ambience without voiceover. Internet access and a compatible browser are required. We do not currently promise downloads, a native app, casting or smart-TV compatibility.

Your account

You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to buy a membership. Give accurate account and billing details, keep your login secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorised use. Do not sell or publicly share your account, bypass access controls, scrape or bulk-download the library, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully.

Trial, price and renewal

The introductory trial lasts seven days. Unless you cancel before it ends, your selected plan renews automatically at US$7.99 per month or US$69.99 per year. The annual plan is charged as one yearly payment. UK VAT is added at checkout: US$9.59 per month or US$83.99 per year including 20% VAT. For customers outside the UK, no tax is currently added. The final renewal total is shown before you confirm. Your bank may apply currency conversion or other fees. A trial is an introductory offer, not a right to repeatedly create new accounts to avoid payment.

Cancellation and refunds

Cancel through your account menu → Manage membership, or contact hello@thelivingnomad.com if you need help. Cancellation stops the next renewal. Paid access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Cancelling before the trial ends prevents the subscription charge. Cancellation does not by itself refund earlier payments. Our Cancellation & refunds page explains cooling-off rights, billing mistakes and problems with the service. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law.

Our content and your permission to watch

We or our licensors retain the rights in the films, sound, images, writing, branding and software. Membership grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream the content for your own private, non-commercial enjoyment. It does not permit redistribution, reuploading, resale, public screenings, commercial background use, incorporation into other work or automated extraction. Ask us before using content in a business or project.

Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service with reasonable care and skill, but playback can be affected by maintenance, connectivity and third-party outages. Resolution depends on the film, device and connection; uninterrupted 4K playback is not guaranteed. Individual films may change or be withdrawn for rights, technical or editorial reasons. We will give reasonable advance notice of material membership or price changes, explain when they take effect, and let you cancel before the change affects a renewal. If we end the service, we will address unused prepaid access fairly and provide refunds where required.

Fair use and account restrictions

If there is a reasonable basis to suspect fraud, serious misuse or a breach of these terms, we may restrict access proportionately while we investigate. Where practical and lawful, we will explain why and give you a chance to put things right. Contact us to challenge a restriction. We will not use this provision to remove your consumer remedies or retain payments we are legally required to return.

Responsibility and your rights

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. The service is for personal use, so we do not accept responsibility for business losses such as lost profit or business interruption. Ambience is for entertainment and relaxation, not medical treatment or professional advice. These terms do not limit statutory rights relating to digital content, services or unfair terms.

Questions, complaints and governing law

Please email hello@thelivingnomad.com first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but this does not deprive consumers elsewhere of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the law where they live. Material changes to these terms will be notified before they take effect. You can save or print this page for your records.
